WikiLetters (WikiErratum) is an independent platform supported by WikiLetters. WikiErratum is merged with [https://www.wikicorrigendum.org WikiCorrigendum] to support the generation of both components, i.e. erratum and corrigendum. It allows journals, scientists, researchers, students and maybe others to provide corrections to a work which has already been printed. Following the wiki-ecosystem, here you are not required to provide your personal details, and here your submitted corrections becomes available online instantaneously so others can have access to all corrections.

Furthermore, WikiErratum gives you the opportunity to provide corrections and to return at any time to include additional corrections, which is very much in the core of a wiki-ecosystem.

An erratum and a corrigendum slightly differ from each other although their final goal is very similar, i.e. to provide minor corrections. An erratum is a collection of minor corrections provided by the publisher, whereas a corrigendum is provided by the author(s). All these minor corrections can be easily accessed by any reader via WikiErratum or WikiCorrigendum. However, here we merge both under the same database, i,e, WikiErratum, because they suit the same purpose.
<br>
ImproperCitations are citations not accurate towards someone's publication. For example, let us assume you have written an article (A) and someone later in time wrote an article (B) that cites your paper. Now let us assume this citation piece says that you did or did not generated some data (or method, or anything), but this information is not accurate for a number of reasons that the author of a paper being cited can very easily know and explain. Consequently, we bring this database to support the indication or the rectification of citations that are not correct.

To contribute to WikiErratum is fairly simple, and quite similar to creating a Wikipedia article.

A similar written explanation for consideration:

, and a few tutorials for consideration:

You need to initially search for the full title of an article (e.g. TITLE-A) inside WikiErratum to confirm it's non-existence. The confirmation of non-existence would provide you a result displaying the sentence:

<span style="background:#c0c0c0">Create the page "<span style="color:#ff0000">'''TITLE-A'''</span>" on this wiki!</span>

From this point, you are welcome to click over the title in red to create this new information.

It is suggested a very simple structure that contains the information about an article receiving minor suggested corrections. See examples below

Note: Please consider the very basic headings displayed in Figure-1. However, if you are welcome to include additional headings and sub-headings whenever needed.
